Ball State vs. IU
Ball State played IU, Saturday, Sept. 15, at Memorial Stadium, falling to IU, 10-38.
Here is my take on the game. This was my second time at Memorial Stadium and I have photographed Ball State football for three years now. This past weekend was probably one of the hottest games I have ever covered and my camera thought so too. I’ve never had equipment over heat before, but after receiving an error message on my screen between every 50 frames, I knew something was up. The day got hotter and so did my camera. Soon, I had to call it in the middle of the 4th quarter. Thankfully, I got just enough to make me somewhat happy— like the fumble series and the nice side profile shot.
Just one of the few perks about working in for a college paper. I am allowed to make mistakes and learn how to trouble shoot in high stress situations. Even if it is a pain in the ass.
